According to news sources , the state of Indiana is struggling to enforce its newly implemented ban on texting while driving, with police blaming the difficulty on how the law was drafted and written. NHTSA Investigates Infiniti M45 Fuel Gauges
In a press statement , the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that they were opening a preliminary defect investigation for fuel gauges on 2003-2004 model year Infiniti M45 vehicles from Nissan. The official investigation was prompted by the increasing number of reports the NHTSA is receiving concerning the inaccuracy of the fuel level readings in the Infiniti M45s. About 16,000 Ford F-Series Pickup Trucks Recalled
According to news sources , about 16,000 Ford F-series pickup trucks have been recalled due to faulty transmission locks that could allow a driver to shift from Park into gear without the need of pressing on the brake, thereby increasing the risk of collision and injuring passerby’s. The recalled vehicles have a model year of 2011 and 2012 and include the following models, F-150, F-250, F-350,F-450 and F-550 pickup trucks.
