Study Shows Fibromyalgia, CFS Differ in Response to Exercise
A new study reported that there is further evidence that patients with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and fibromyalgia react differently to exercise stimulation. CFS and fibromyalgia are both chronic multi-symptom illnesses that have significant clinical and diagnostic overlap. In previous studies, it was shown that patients with fibromyalgia and CFS do not display abnormal cardiorespiratory responses during maximal aerobic exercise when company to non-fibromyalgia and non-CFS controls, other than differences in pain and exertion reported. In a press statement , the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that they were opening a preliminary defect investigation for fuel gauges on 2003-2004 model year Infiniti M45 vehicles from Nissan. The official investigation was prompted by the increasing number of reports the NHTSA is receiving concerning the inaccuracy of the fuel level readings in the Infiniti M45s.
